Like 'da Fish was born following a dive trip to the island of Roatan, located just off the coast of Honduras. During the trip, a dive master commented that our little group of divers was Like 'da fish. Recently, with the support of some dive shop owner’s we decided to make Like 'da Fish official. Our goal is to help promote the dive lifestyle, by teaching people to dive, keep them diving, and exposing divers to the wonders of the underwater world. Learn to Dive From the educational stance, we can provide a broad range of training program’s through the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI). These programs range from initial diver training, up to Assistant Instructor. Having taught in the emergency services for 25 years, I believe that education needs to be flexible, fun, and focused on real goals. See the Learn to Dive for more information. Scuba Crew Over the last several years we have gathered like-minded divers to share good times and dive memories with. Our group is made up of divers form all around northeast PA, with a few tossed in from NJ and the Williamsport area. They come from all walks of life, including:
As you can see, our divers come from all occupations. Likewise, they have a wide range of diving experience. One of the primary goals of Like 'da Fish, is to keep divers diving. Thus we try to keep all of “the crew” up-to-date on industry news and on whose diving where. Dive Travel Early on, we discovered that to truly embrace diving, you need to explore, not only the cites in your back yard, but the wonders that can be found around the world. Thus, we sponsor dive trips each year to new and exciting dive locations, like Bonaire and Curacao. Check out our Travel Page to see where we have been and where we are going next.
